Cucumber Serrano Pepper Margarita Recipe

June 11, 20150

During my stay at Villa del Palmar in Loreto Bay, Baja California Sur, I opted to try David the bartender’s suggested cocktail: his famous Cucumber Serrano Pepper Margarita. The only catch is that I don’t drink tequila, so he made this for me with rum. Oh. My. Goodness. It was a party in my mouth and I had to bring home the recipe, to share with you of course.

Try this as is or substitute the tequila for rum, delicious!

Cucumber Serrano Pepper Margarita

Ingredients:

50 grams Cucumber

1 medium Serrano Chili pepper

1.5 oz Cointreau Triple Sec

1.5 oz Tequila

0.5 oz Simple syrup

0.5 oz Fresh-squeezed lime juice

Muddle cucumber and serrano pepper with lime juice in separate glass. Add everything to shaker with ice, shake it up, pour and serve.
