In January of 2014, I traveled to Vegas to attend my first business conference as an online entrepreneur. I had started my first blog about 8 months prior and was giving all of my energy to the learning curve of full-time blogging. I said yes to the ticket because a friend I trust said it would be worth it.
I had NO IDEA what I was getting myself into. At that conference, a series of very specific events took place that ultimately led me all the way to the keynote stage at TBEX, 5.5 years later.
In this keynote, I tell the story of these events, as well as many lessons I’ve learned (and keep learning) along the way that have made me both a better person and a better traveler.
It’s up to us to act on what we learn and what we believe in. Here I am doing just that.
