At age 18, Jackie Nourse chose to pursue travel as a lifestyle and never returned to “normal” as she knew it. Now, over 20 years later, she is the host of the award-winning podcast JUMP with Traveling Jackie, and creator of JUMP Adventures, where she invites her community to take the leap and travel the world together. She has been an ambassador for brands such as Osprey, Oboz Footwear, Atomic Skis, Four Wheel Campers, BikeTours.com, and Carve Designs, and won an award for Best Documentary Short for her collaboration with Osprey on the short film “Chiloé,” based in her beloved Patagonia. She served as a Media Advisor for the Adventure Travel Trade Association and has been a keynote speaker for TBEX North America. When she’s not traveling internationally, she can be found playing ice hockey in Montana or traveling in her truck camper with her mountain bike in tow. Osprey Packs
It started with a genuine passion for backpacks (#gearnerd) that blossomed into an official ambassadorship and even a short documentary film about me and my story against the backdrop of a place that changed my life. That documentary is called Chiloé and it won Best Documentary Short at a 2021 film festival. Osprey was my first “dream brand” collab; they’ve believed in me and what I’m doing from the start, and the feeling is mutual.
Oboz Footwear
Supporting local businesses matters to me, which is why I partnered with Oboz Footwear, an internationally-recognized footwear company with a home base just down the street from mine in Bozeman, Montana. Through a photo & video campaign and a podcast sponsorship that turned into an official, ongoing ambassadorship, this is a collab I’m very proud to be part of, not to mention that my feet absolutely love Oboz shoes. I serendipitously met the crew from Carve Designs on a beach in Baja in 2014, and we’ve been partnering ever since. Most of my wardrobe comes from this “for women, by women” company of creative, dedicated females. I’d say this collab is a perfect fit 😉.
